The Mt Buller Village

 

The luxury of staying at Chalet 5 is the close proximity to the Mt Buller Village. In just a short 10 minute ski down, you will find all the major amenities such as; grocery store, post office, gym and the cinema.

 

The village also many entertainment options to keep the whole family amused. These offerings include; fine dining restaurants, casual bars, air zone, National Alpine Museum of Australia and the Village Square.

 

What to Wear

 

Wearing the right clothing while you are at the snow is super important for your safety and comfort. Our top tip is to wear lots of layers and a waterproof outer layer. As you may know, we lose half of our body heat through our heads. So, make sure to pack a beaning to keep you nice and toasty.

 

To ensure ease and convenience, the Chalet is fitted with a private drying room. The drying room comes fitted with a washer and dryer to stay fresh. In the entrance of the Chalet, you will find a coat and ski hooks to keep your equipment out of the way and protected.

 

Retail and Rental

 

Renting ski equipment is a great option for occasional skiers. While for seasoned skiers, purchasing your own equipment is a great investment in your favourite pastime. Lift and Lesson Passes

 

Not only are the lifts ideal for getting around the mountain, but they also offer majestic views from above. Mt Buller boasts 22 lifts scattered the entire way across the mountain. So, you will never be far from your transportation option.

 

Regardless of your age or skill level, you will always learn something new with ski lessons. The Mt Buller Ski & Snowboard School is known to be one of the best in Australia. If you are a first-timer, Mt Buller offers a free 2-hour introductory lesson.

 

When reserving your stay at Chalet 5, make sure to mention to the reservation staff that you would like to bundle your lift and lesson passes with your stay.

 

Getting Around

Once you are settled in at Chalet 5, moving from place to place on the mountain is made easy by the transport options available.
